Lost and Found

Posted on March 9, 2020March 10, 2020 by ruthbillingsley

Have you ever lost your wedding ring, your keys, or a bank deposit bag? I have. My rings – a long time ago, my keys – it has been awhile ( since I now have a special place in my purse for them and an extra set on the hall hooks), but the bank bag – this week! I looked high and low, back and forth, here and there, until the only other option was to pray! Why do I wait until I am desperate? Isn’t that true in all of our lives? When our own ideas fail, when the doctor says, “It’s serious,” or when someone says, ” I don’t believe you.” Then we are brought low. Why? God loves us enough to bring us low. Then we learn to trust Him and pray. It does’t matter if our requests are large or small. He is there to answer. God may not answer in the way we want. Trust is the key. Will you find what you’re looking for? In my case, YES, but it was my prayer of faith that mattered.
