To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
In you, O God, I will trust.
Do not let me suffer shame,
Nor my enemies turn me to dust.
No one whose hope is only in You
Will ever be put to shame,
But shame will be upon those
Who are treacherous in name.
Show me Your ways and Your paths.
Guide me to always be strong.
For you are my Savior and God
And my hope all the daylong.
Remember Your great mercy and love,
For they are ever of old.
And forget my many sins
As my youthful deeds unfold.
Think of me according to Your love,
For You are worthy of praise.
Good and upright is the Lord,
And sinners are taught His ways.
He guides the humble in what is right.
And teaches them in His way.
The paths of the Lord are good.
Loving to those who obey.

- “I lift up my soul.” I surrender my life, my will, and all that I am to the Lord.
- “I will trust.” I will look to God for all answers.
- “Hope only in You.” I will find my hope in You, not in this world, people or possessions.
- “Teach me Your paths.” I need spiritual instructions to guide me daily.
- “Forget my many sins.” Remember me only with your love and mercy.
- “The paths of the Lord are good.” I will follow God’s path as He leads with His truth.
