The pearl of great price-
He searched all around
And never gave up
Until it was found.
He sold all he had
And bought it to gain
Treasure in heaven,
Where Jesus will reign.
Heaven is the pearl,
The pearl of great price.
Our worldly treasures
Will never suffice.
What is your treasure?
Is it things on earth,
Or is it heaven,
The pearl of great worth?

A merchant, seeking the truth, sells everything he owns to buy one extremely valuable pearl, symbolizing the kingdom of Heaven, salvation, and godly wisdom. They are so precious that they are worth giving up all worldly possessions and priorities to attain.
This parable represents the ultimate treasure, worth any sacrifice for its incomparable, spiritual value.
What do you place highest of earthly value – Friends, family, possessions, health, or beauty? What are your priorities in life? Are you willing to sacrifice all for Jesus?
