Jesus is the Light;
No need to be blind.

Today, I am on the west bank of the Missouri River in the Big Bend area of central South Dakota preparing to spend a couple of days at the Lower Brule, South Dakota Indian Reservation. Traveling with my church group, we brought a trailer full of 225 backpacks with school supplies and fun things for students who range from elementary school to high school. We also have diapers, rain ponchos, toys, long-sleeved shirts, hats, gloves, socks, and much more that we are giving to the Hilltop Baptist Church in Lower Brule to distribute to those in need.
We will be spending two days at the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe’s PowWow, Fair and Rodeo. We have reserved a vendor booth and will be giving out bottled water, offering crafts to make, and sharing other fun activities. We pray for the people we meet, discovering ways to help them and encourage them, become friends, and lead them to the knowledge of Jesus.
