Our Help in 2022

Posted on January 7, 2022 by ruthbillingsley
Divine Protection

I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where comes my help, my rescue?
It comes from the Lord, the Maker
Of heaven and earth, ever true.

True to His word, always faithful.
He’ll watch over you and will keep
Your feet from slipping or falling
And will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you now.
He is your shade at your right hand.
The sun will not harm you by day,
Nor the moon by night, His command.

The Lord will keep you from all harm.
He’ll watch over all of your life,
Watching your coming and going,
Forever through peace or through strife.
                                      Psalm 121

Our help comes from the Lord, so look to God in times of trouble.  The God who created the universe helps and watches over us – even while we sleep.  He watches over us day and night.  No matter what situation we find ourselves in, God sees.   Our circumstances may not always change, but He has promised His peace in the midst of it all.  As you make your journey through 2022, may you experience the protection that God gives to each one of His children.

God Will Take Care of You

1. Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath His wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.

	Refrain:
God will take care of you,
Through every day, o’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.

2. Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.

3. All you may need He will provide,
God will take care of you;
Nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you.

4. No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon His breast,
God will take care of you.
