55 Years
God in His wisdom
Looked down from above.
He saw you and me,
So perfect for love.
He sent His angels
To guide us to Him,
And show us the way
Our new lives begin.
One day at a time,
We know it is true.
So trust in His grace
To see our way through.
Through all He has planned,
The good and the bad,
The ups and the downs,
The funny and sad.
He’ll be there for us.
He’s waiting to bless.
Our lives will reflect
Love and happiness.
Today is our 55th wedding anniversary. God, in his mercy and grace, has guided us through the years and allowed us to be together. We live in a world that doesn’t see marriage as a commitment. A report from the Census Bureau states that only six percent of American couples make it to their 50th anniversary. A lasting marriage is based on the Word of God and follows godly principles. Trust God to guide, not only in marriage, but in every part of life. That is how to be blessed and successful.
