The Journey of a Shoebox
May God be gracious to us and bless us.
And on us His face shine.
That His ways may be known on all the earth.
Salvation is divine.
May all the people praise You forever.
And esteem Your great name.
The nations will be glad and sing for joy,
For You judge all the same.
You rule and guide the nations of the earth.
The people honor You.
Your mighty name will be forever praised,
And harvests will be in view.
And God, our God, will bless us forever.

On November 20, Boundless Grace Baptist Church had our annual church-wide packing party to fill 1500 shoeboxes. We participate in the Operation Christmas Child ministry, which is a part of Samaritan’s Purse. This is a year-round effort to provide hygiene items, school supplies, clothing, and toys to boys and girls around the world, but the most important gift to them is the Good News of Jesus that is shared with each box. This year we not only met our goal of 1,500, we exceeded it. We sent 1,806 “gospel opportunities.”
Our boxes have gone to children in Mexico, Guatemala and other countries. We feel blessed to be able to give to this wonderful ministry that will make a difference in the eternal life of families all over the world. This is our mission.
