Thank you, God,
For the way You teach.
Through Your Word and others,

You help me to find
Contentment and peace,
To rest in Your arms;
In You, I’m complete.
Complete to be
Happy and free
In all circumstances,
Your strength in me.
Can true contentment be possible? Only if we find our contentment within. Our circumstances sometimes disappoint us, but having trust in Christ gives us peace, joy, and strength within. It is a condition of our heart. It is what we are, not what we have.
Prayer in our daily lives is the power of contentment. It allows our faith to grow. God’s grace brings contentment and gives us the hope of eternal life. God is a good caring Father and the more we trust Him the more we are content. Trust frees us from our circumstances because we trust in Christ no matter what we are walking through.
Have faith. Have contentment.
