“A Book of Psalms”

O Lord, Our Lord How majestic is Your name. All the earth rejoices All the heavens proclaim. From the lips of children Your glory is praised. They silence all enemies. Your banner is raised. Consider Your heavens Which You put in place, The work of Your fingers The moon, stars, and space What is man That You care for him? Made lower than angels Despite all his sin. You crowned him with glory. Made him ruler of all, The beast of the field The herds, large and small. The birds of the air The fish of the sea The lion and lamb And all that run free O Lord, our Lord How majestic is Your name. All the earth rejoices All the heavens proclaim. (Based on Psalm 8)
A Book of Psalms is a poetic interpretation of each of the psalms. It took six years to write and has been a journey of discovery. Discovering that God’s Word is truly a treasure full of wealth beyond measure. It has nuggets of wisdom, true gems of prayer, the riches of trust, and faith worth more than gold. There is a wealth of God’s goodness, glory, promises, and salvation on every page. My prayer is that this book will guide you to open your hearts to God with each verse, lead you in making your life decisions, and bring you so near to God that you can feel His love. Take a few minutes each day to read through these poems and let them be your prayer, your guide, and your song.
