October 14, 1949 – March 6, 2023
Billie, special sister-in-law and beloved friend, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She fought the good fight, she finished the race, and she kept the faith.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." II Timothy 4:7-8
Billie was given a battle to fight. She loved the following verse and kept it with her wherever she went. It encouraged her as well as those she met along the way.
"Fear not, for I am with you, Be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
Some may say that cancer won this battle, but that is not true – Billie won the battle because now she is cancer-free and restored to perfect health.
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4 "For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." II Corinthians 5:1 Billie wants us to rejoice with her in that hope that all believers have: eternal life, joy, wholeness, and love.
