Why Me? See the earth’s expanse. The thought is so great. In God’s own timing, He spoke to create. Today, here I am In this universe, With stars and planets, Which God dispersed. Did He think of me When He made this place? Did His love shine bright On His perfect face? Did He send His Son When He saw my plight? When evil abounds, Do tears fill His sight? May I shine His light In darkness and death Until the earth ceases And takes its last breath. From My Heart
I think of this vast universe, this beautiful place, and realize my insignificance. Why am I here and what is my purpose?
In Genesis God created man. He blessed him and gave him rule over nature. We are here to tend the earth. We are also here to have fellowship with God, to know Him personally. He will walk and talk with me and His love surrounds me. I will live in His light, that light that shines in the heart of every believer, the light that shows the path leading to eternal life.
