Zephaniah 3:14-17

"The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
God’s judgment has come Because of great sin. Trouble upon us; Discontent within. God in holiness Sees darkness and gloom, Hears our mercy cries. Justice is our doom. Yet, God in His love Is faithful and true. His grace sufficient. He will see us through. Sing, O My daughter. Shout; be set apart. Be glad and rejoice With all of your heart. The Lord takes away Your judgment’s decrees. Your enemies gone. Praise God on your knees. The Lord is with you; Among all today. Disasters no more. Your prophet will say, “Do not be afraid, Nor your hands be weak. The Lord in your midst Will save and will speak. “The Mighty One comes, And He will rejoice. With gladness and love, He’ll quiet with His voice. “His love over you Will comfort lifelong, Rejoicing always With peace and with song.”
Last week we sang a new song to God. This week He sings to us. Zephaniah 3:17 was written over 2600 years ago. God was speaking to His people and He still speaks to us today. If you have put your trust in Jesus, if you have experienced salvation, you have a relationship with God. As you walk through life with God, He rejoices over you with gladness and joy. He comforts your heart with His love. He rejoices over you with singing. Be quiet and listen. What song do you hear?
