Psalm 96

Adore the Lord God Sing to the Lord a new song. Sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise His name. Proclaim His salvation, His worth. Declare His glory, give praise Among all the nations. His marvelous deeds proclaim, Worthy of all adorations. He's to be feared and honored Above all idols and gods. For the Lord made the heaven, Majesty wherever we trod. His sanctuary is strength. Splendor is His glory. Oh, families of nations, Ascribe to the Lord this story. Bring an offering to Him. Glory is due His name. Come into HIs courts with praise. Worship the Lord, sing and proclaim. Worship Him in the splendor Of His holiness and truth. Tremble before Him, all earth, All of the elders, all the youth. Say now among he nations, "The Lord of all the earth reigns." The world is well established. It cannot be move, it remains. The Lord will judge the peoples With equity, honor-clad. Let all the heavens rejoice And let all of the earth be glad. Let the sea resound and ring And all that is in it too. Let the field be jubilant And everything seen in their view. Then the forest trees will sing. They'll sing to the Lord for joy. For He comes to judge the earth. His righteousness and truth employ.
Sing to the Lord a new song. This new song, written in 998 BC by David, is a prophecy of the gospel message and Christ’s finished work on earth. David saw a day when all the earth will sing a new song to the Lord. The earth and all God’s people will praise, worship, and rejoice in God’s salvation plan. The sea, the fields, and the forests will declare the Lord’s righteousness, truth, splendor, and glory.
Today we sing this new song and express our thankfulness to God who gives us HIs blessings each day. Every morning is new with God’s companion, mercy, and faithfulness. His promises are sure and we sing with gratitude.
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentation 3:22-23

This card sits, framed, on my desk. It was given to me many years ago. It reads, “Those who wish to sing always find a song.”
Is there a song in your heart?
Is there a melody on your lips?
Sing out!
