Abba Father, God above, Thank You for sending me Your love. Adopted through Christ, I became Your child. I now have a Father who is gentle and mild. Today I have nothing to fear or to hide, Because all that I need You will provide. A Father I can talk to and open my heart. My dreams and cares to You I’ll impart. I praise You, O Father, for all You have done, But most of all for sending Your Son. I love You, Father, for choosing me And calling me ‘daughter’ through eternity.
“Let not let your hearts be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” (John 14:1-3)
You are not what you do. You are not what you have. You are not what people say about you. You are God’s beloved daughter. This is your only true identity.
Though we are many things – parents, grandparents, friends, church leaders, neighbors, and employees – God only sees us as one thing: His beloved.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God: And that is what we are.” (1 John 3:1)
We are loved. We do enough. We are enough. God’s Word reminds us that we can let go of our fears and live every moment with joy with Jesus. Put your trust in the One who sees you for who you really are, HIS!
