This video of Alan Jackson singing “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” is one of my favorite hymns. May you be blessed as you listen.
"O soul are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There's light for a look at the Savior And life more abundant and free."
Are you caught up in the things of this world? Do they give you concern, fear, worry, pain or despair? This is what the world gives, but if we turn our eyes upon Jesus and look in His face we will find the joy of hope. May our struggles and our concerns for this planet never take away the joy of our hope.
The Joy of Hope Has your joy grown cold, Even weak or dead? Your days filled with pain, Suffering and dread? Some difficult times Come with daily trials, Warfare and unrest Despair and denials. Do not give up hope. Keep your faith strong. The Lord is in control. He knows all that’s wrong. He’ll give you a plan. He’ll change fear to hope. Give you inner strength And courage to cope. Peace I leave with you. My peace I will give. Do not be troubled. Be brave as you live. Now rejoice in hope, Joy that comes within. Not what the world gives, Just heartache and sin. Claim the joy of hope, God’s love in your heart. Give it all to Him. He’ll never depart.
